Chauffeur Tour North Wales - Itinerary
Stop – 1
Leaving your central Manchester or North Wales pick up point at 9.00am, we head along the beautiful North Wales coast passing places like ‘’I’m a celebrity’s’’ Gwrych Castle and the marble church of Bodelwyddan.
Our first stop of the day in the famous medieval town of Conwy. The views of Edward 1’s 13th century castle towering over the town as we approach over the sandy estuary is simply breath-taking. Conwy Castle is considered by UNESCO to be one of the “finest examples of late 13th century and early 14th century military architecture in Europe”. With the smallest house in Britain, a quaint fishing quay, medieval town walls, TV personality Drew Pritchard’s antique shop and one of the finest surviving Elizabethan town houses in Britain, you could easily lose a day in Conwy.

Stop - 2
A short drive along the Conwy Valley takes us to our next stop. Betws y Coed is the busting little village known as the ‘Gateway to Snowdonia’. Surrounded by dense forest and tumbling rivers and with the high mountains of Snowdonia in the distance, Betws y Coed has a distinctly alpine and outdoorsy feel. Moreover, its busy shops sell a range of goods from outdoor gear to local arts and crafts, whilst cafes, bars and hotels cater for hikers, climbers and mountain bikers who have spent a long day in the mountains as well as tourists taking in the mountain air and vistas of Snowdonia.

STOP - 3
Next, we head into the high mountains with Mount Snowdon itself towering above us as we head past sparkling lakes and tumbling waterfalls. Heading down from Snowdon’s high mountain pass, we are flanked by foreboding rock walls and boulder strewn valley floors until suddenly the full impact of Wales’ industrial heritage opens up in front of us. The vast abandoned Dinorwig slate quarry appears to eat away at the mountains themselves.

Stop - 4
Our final stop of the day is Llandudno, known by the Victorians as the ‘Queen of the Welsh Seaside Resorts’. Llandudno’s main beach sweeps spectacularly between the rocky outcrops of the Great and Little Ormes. With a selection of shops, cafés and restaurants of every size and standard, and the longest Victorian Pier in Wales, Llandudno is a great place to relax in the mid-afternoon sun.
From Llandudno, we head back along the North Wales coast with an expected arrival time back at your drop off in Manchester or North Wales of approximately 18.00
